Ben van Nieuwland is a Master’s student in Medicine at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers, location Academic Medical Center. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine with an elective in immunology and wrote his thesis on the NOVICE cohort, investigating the long-term health effects of perinatal HIV infection. Within his Master’s, he continues to study these long-term health effects with a specific focus on neuroimaging and multi-omics research, which will eventually be continued into a PhD trajectory.
