Hetty van Eijk

Hetty van Eijk, born and raised in the Netherlands, is a technician at the OrganoVIR Labs at the Amsterdam Medical Center (Amsterdam UMC) location Academic Medical Center (AMC). She has been working in the virology department since 1982.

Within OrganoVIR Labs, her tasks includes; culturing viruses in 2D cell lines, maintain various cell lines for research, training and guiding students and PhDs, teaching basic techniques of cell culture and virus culture, and keeping the labs in order.
